After obtaining a doctorate in physics from the University of Hamburg in 1991, Michael Schubert joined Bruker Daltonik GmbH as a research scientist. In 2002, he became Managing Director of Bruker Daltonik GmbH, and in 2004, Vice President for R&D of Bruker Daltonics. In 2005, Michael Schubert has been promoted to Executive Vice President of the Bruker Daltonics group.

Axel Walch studied human medicine in Heidelberg, holds a doctorate from the Technical University of Munich and is a board-certified pathologist. In 2002-2005, he was the head of the Group for Molecular Tumor Genetics of Solid Cancer at the Institute of Pathology, University Medical Center Freiburg. Since 2005, Axel Walch headed the Microscopic Biomedical Imaging Group at the Helmholtz Center Munich. Since 2011, he is the head of the research unit Analytical Pathology.
Manager for Process Excellence
After studying chemistry in Hamburg, Dietrich Schreiber held various R&D and procurement positions at Effem and Masterfoods. In 2005, he accomplished an M.B.A. degree of Purdue University (Master of Business Administration) and joined McKinsey & Company as a Project Manager. Since 2011, he works at Fielmann AG as Manager for process excellence.
